33 Days to Merciful Love is a retreat book written by Fr. Michael Gaitley to give ample time (33 days) to prepare yourself to make an Offering to Merciful Love. What is that offering, what will that offering do to me, and what does the 33 Days retreat look like?
What is the Offering to Merciful Love?
"On 9 June of the same year 1895, the feast of the Blessed Trinity, she received a very special grace during Mass, and felt within herself an urge to offer herself as a holocaust victim to Merciful Love. After Mass she took me with her to mother prioress; she seemed beside herself and did not say a word. When we found Mother Agnes, for it was she who was then prioress, she asked her if both of us could offer ourselves as victims to Merciful Love, and gave her a short explanation of what that meant. Mother Agnes was at a loss; she did not seem to understand too well what was going on, but she had such confidence in Sister Thérèse's discretion that she gave her full permission. It was then that she composed the act called 'An Offering to Love', which she carried next to her heart ever afterwards."

What does the 33 Days retreat look like?
The program consists of a short but insightful 5-10 minutes of daily reading from the 33 Days to Merciful Love book. Our group will meet together in the School Gym for 6 consecutive Wednesdays for prayer, small group discussion of the readings and the graces you are receiving from your preparation, and a DVD presentation from Fr. Michael Gaitley. Through the generosity of donors, we are able to offer you this retreat at a 50% discount! Please take full advantage of this moment's grace!

We will make the Offering to Merciful Love together on Divine Mercy Sunday
April 8, 2018 at 2 pm in the SRW Church
Can't attend all the dates? You can still participate! Just keep up with your daily reading & attend the group sessions as you are able! If you prefer an individual retreat, you may purchase the retreat book (and workbook, if you want the fullest experience) and go at your own pace. You are welcome to make the offering with us on Divine Mercy Sunday! You may make the offering anywhere and at anytime, but we recommend praying the offering included in your purchase in a holy place and holy day (Sunday or Solemnity) to make it meaningful and memorable to you.
If you have already registered, we will order your book and workbook. You will receive materials at our first meeting on Wednesday, February 28 at 6:30 pm in the School Gym. If you are unable to attend the first meeting or are participating in the "Individual" retreat, you may stop in the parish office starting Tuesday, February 27 to pick up your participant materials.
We have now closed general registration. If you would still like to register, please contact Fr. Scott or call the parish office (216.731.1515) to make arrangements for the individual or group retreat. Don't worry, it's not too late!
