The Seniors Group (55+) meets monthly, September through June. The purpose of this group is to encourage members to participate in religious, social and educational activities. Social and religious programs are planned with activities and information that is useful and enjoyable to seniors. Call the parish office for upcoming dates and location (216.731.1515).
Our regular monthly meetings will begin again on Wednesday, September 18th 2019 at 2:00PM as we host Euclid Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer-Gail. Always a welcome guest, Mayor Holzheimer Gail will fill us in on what’s happening around the city and respond to questions. We will also be handing out booklets with information this year’s events.
To all those who aren’t on our regular mailing list, please note our meetings are moving to the All Saints Room, the new meeting space in our Parish Center. Entrance is on the north side of SRW School. Use the walkway that runs between the school and the Guardian Angels Early Childhood Learning Center (the old convent).
Two years ago we added a new activity to our monthly meetings. Each month attendees were asked to bring in items to benefit different organizations. The generosity of our members was beyond belief! This year we are going to focus on stocking The Pantry, SRW’s own food distribution center. We now have a room in the lower level of the parish office building that is solely for receiving and organizing food, paper products, toiletries, and cleaning items for those in need. Each month a specific item will be requested. For September we are asking everyone to bring in cans of vegetables (14oz or 15oz sizes).
